We Are All Sparks of the Divine

May 1, 2000

This meditation develops an elevated perspective that allows us to see each and every being as a vessel that the infinite moves or flows through. When we experience life this way, realizing our uniqueness but not over-identifying with it, we can reach union. It is this union that embodies Humee Hum Brahm Hum, “we are one, we are God.”

1. Bear Grip Pull

Posture & MudraSit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana) with a straight spine. Bring the hands into Bear Grip with the right palm facing the body at the level of your Heart Center (Anahata Chakra).

Suggested recording: Humee Hum by Nirinjan Kaur from the album Musical Affirmations.

Eyes/Drishti: Closed and focused on the Tip of the Nose (Lotus Point).

Duration:  Continue for 15 minutes.

Ending: Inhale deeply, exhale, and immediately begin Exercise 2.
