Tame Your Inner Critic

March 12, 1979

The negativity we direct towards ourselves is often the greatest obstacle to achieving our goals. By accepting ourselves, flaws and all, we can stop seeking validation externally.

This meditation helps you break free from self-sabotaging patterns, overcome self-doubt, and cultivate self-compassion. It helps you to develop self-acceptance, that can quiet your inner critic, and allow you to connect with your true self.

Posture & Mudra

Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana) with a light Neck Lock (Jalandhara Bandha) Keep your spine straight,  with no movement of the torso. Relax your upper arms at your sides and make fists with both hands, extending your thumbs straight up. Bring the fists together, keeping your thumbs and fists touching at the level of the Heart Center.
