Practiced regularly before bed, this kriya can lead to deep, relaxed sleep and nerve regeneration. The practitioner’s breath rhythm during sleep may even become subconsciously regulated to the rhythm of the kriya. Additional benefits include enhanced capacity for thinking, work, sharing, love, and exercise.

The mantra’s rhythm may permeate your daily activities, leading to automatic, subconscious integration. Shabad Kriya can promote personality growth, bestow radiance, and cultivate patience, which is considered the foundation of true love. Through love, one gives without focusing on others flaws, similar to the sun’s unconditional distribution of light and warmth to all. Disciplined practice of Shabad Kriya can facilitate the embodiment of this universality.
