Balancing Mind, Body, and Spirit

November 18, 1991

This kriya is deeply clearing and designed to reduce stress, balance your chakras, and revitalize your nervous system. It can also benefit your glandular system and liver. These exercises must be done together and never for less or more than 11 minutes.

Exercise 1: Pittra Kriya

Posture & Mudra: Place your left hand on your Heart Center and cup your right hand in front of you with your elbow relaxed by your side.

Movement & Breath: Lift your right hand up and over, as if splashing water over your shoulder. Feel the wind passing your ear as your hand moves over your shoulder. Your right wrist must pass your earlobe.

Eyes/Drishti: Tip of the Nose (Lotus Point).

Duration: Continue for 11 minutes.

Ending: Repeat 2 more times.

Inhale and suspend your breath for 15 seconds, stretching your right hand back as far as you can.

Exhale.
