Shiva

Shiva is a principal deity in Hinduism, revered as the supreme being who embodies both the creative and destructive forces of the universe. He is known as the god of transformation, destruction, and regeneration. Shiva is often depicted as the cosmic dancer (Nataraja), symbolizing the rhythm of creation and destruction in the universe. As a yogi and ascetic, Shiva represents the dissolution of the ego and the transcendence of worldly attachments. Devotees worship Shiva to seek spiritual liberation, inner peace, and transformation of consciousness. He is also associated with attributes such as meditation, austerity, and the harmonious balance between masculine and feminine energies (Shiva-Shakti).
