Relationship of Self and Soul

December 3, 1981

To be fully and completely alive is to be in a continuous relationship between the small self and the soul. Without this relationship, we can feel insecure, afraid of the unknown, and continuously compare ourselves with the success and belongings of others. As a self in close relationship with soul, we can relax, knowing that whatever we need will come to us. This happens because Earth’s magnetic field reacts to our magnetic field; the nucleus of the magnetic field is soul. The storehouses of the divine are unlimited and flow to those who are in constant contact with soul.

Done for 7 ½ minutes in the original class. May be practiced for 3-31 minutes.

  1. Inhale deeply and suspend your breath for 30 seconds. As you hold, listen to the sound of the mantra between your Navel Point (Manipura Chakra) and Third Eye Point (Ajna Chakra); concentrate on the connection between the two. Exhale.
  2. Repeat this sequence two more times.
