Open Lotus Heart Meditation
This meditation opens and strengthens the Heart Center, allowing old emotional wounds and hardened defenses to dissolve into the vibration of the mantra. As the heart softens and expands, you align with your true Self, cultivating your ability to stay open and connected to others.
By embracing your connectedness with all that is, you can discover your unique essence and authentic presence. Trust the process as emotions arise, and immerse yourself fully in the sound current to access profound healing and self-realization.

Posture & Mudra:
Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana) with a straight spine. Bring your hands into Lotus Mudra at the Heart Center.
- Bring the base of your palms together.
- Touch the first digits of the pinkie fingers and thumbs together on the outsides.
- The remaining fingers are straight and spread wide, resembling a lotus flower in bloom, with the palms facing each other and opening upward.
Mantra:
Chant “HUMEE HUM BRAHM HUM” from your heart, and immerse yourself in the sound current.
Eyes/Drishti:
Focus on the Tip of the Nose (Lotus Point).
Duration:
Continue for 31 minutes.
Ending:
- Inhale deeply and hold your breath briefly. Exhale.
- Repeat this sequence two more times.
- Sit absolutely still for 1 minute, sensing everything around and within you.
- Gently move your shoulders and arms or exchange shoulder massages with a partner for 2 minutes.
