Meditation to Feel and Understand Your Soul

December 2, 1981

If you receive a check in the mail, you do not thank the letter carrier for the money, but the person who sent the check. Just the same, to be wise and optimally focused in life, we must acknowledge the ultimate sender of life. The universe is nothing but one emanation of spirit, not the many forms in which that emanation is delivered. God is the very flow of existence, how everything is organized accordingly.

Our physical form alone does not have the power to live; it is the spirit within that animates us. The moment spirit leaves the body, it begins to decompose, because what has held it together is gone. The only achievement we can take with us or credit we can earn in this life is our relationship with our soul, so the important question is: What brings us near to or takes us further away from the flow of soul?

Use this meditation to build a relationship with your soul, a better relationship between you and infinity. It can help you sense your soul within and understand its perspectives, so you can draw near to the kind of happiness that lasts.
