Posture & Mudra: 

Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana) with a straight spine and a light Neck Lock (Jalandhara Bandha). Make an arc with your arms around your head, interlocking your fingers between your palms. Tuck your chin in and gently pull your arms back and slightly downward until the arc is above the back of your neck.

Mantra: 

Chant the Ik Acharee Chand Shabad, also known as the Ajai Alai Mantra. Each word is considered a complete universe. Recite it with awareness, projecting the sound from your Fifth Chakra and vibrating it as naad (subtle sound) into your Eighth Chakra.

Duration: 

Continue for 11 or 22 minutes.

Ending: 

  • Inhale deeply, hold your breath, and stretch your interlaced fingers high above your head. Exhale powerfully. 
  • Repeat this sequence twice. 
  • Relax your body and gently shake out your hands.
