Kriya for Divine Strength
May 12, 1992
Real strength does not come from the physical body, but from the spark of source that animates it. When the divine, or the soul, fully inhabits it, the physical form has the strength to do what is required and bear up under any circumstances. All moral failings could even be described as a basic lack of vitality; if we had the required strength in the moment, we would do the right thing. Invite your soul to dwell fully in your body with this kriya and build divine strength to live your highest consciousness.

1. Create Your Own Magnetic Field
Posture & Mudra: Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana) and bring both hands into Suchi Mudra by your shoulders with the palms facing forward.
Mantra: You can play a mantra recording with a fast beat to keep the rhythm.
Suggested Recording: Sat Siri Siri Akal by Sangeet Kaur Khalsa and Harjinder Singh Gill from the album Raga Sadhana, Vol. 1.
Movement & Breath: Make small, quick, outward circles with your forearms. Move so powerfully that your entire spine and torso shake.
Eyes/Drishti: Focused on the Tip of the Nose (Lotus Point).
Duration: Continue for 8 minutes.
Ending: Repeat this sequence two more times.
Inhale deeply and suspend your breath for 20 seconds. As you hold, make your index fingers strong and stiff; squeeze your entire body tightly too. Exhale.
2. Go Numb
Posture & Mudra: Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana) with a straight spine. Place the left hand on your Navel Center (Manipura Chakra) and your right hand on the forehead.
Eyes/Drishti: Closed.
Mindful Attention: Go numb, become insensitive to all thoughts, feelings, and sensations.
Duration: Continue for 1 ½ minutes.
Ending: Immediately begin Exercise 3.

5. Brain Polarization
Posture & Mudra: Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana) and bring both hands into Prana Mudra. Raise your arms up and out to the sides at 60 degrees above parallel with the palms facing down; keep your elbows straight. Stick your tongue out as far as you possibly can.
