Isht Sodhana Mantra Kriya

Root Yourself in Abundance

August 4, 1975

This meditation uses the Isht Sodhana Mantra to connect you with Earth’s energy and the vast etheric energy. Visualizations with the mantra call on your highest spirit and attract prosperity while keeping you humble, fully present, and grounded.

Posture & Mudra:

Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana) with your hands in Gyan Mudra.

Mantra & Visualization:

Chant the Isht Sodhana mantra: “DHARTI HAI, AKASH HAI, GURU RAM DAS HAI” which translates to “Earth exists, ether exists, Guru Ram Das exists.” As you chant, engage in the following visualizations:

  • Dharti Hai: Imagine a grounding, earthy gray tone emanating from your navel, expanding outwards and down, encompassing the entire Earth. Hold this visualization as you add the next part.
  • Akash Hai: Shift your focus to your brow point, and visualize a vast, expansive blue sky extending upwards into the endless ethers. Hold this visualization as you add the next part.
  • Guru Ram Das Hai: Feel a bright, circular white light radiating from your heart center. This light grows, encompassing you and everything.

Suggested recording: Dharti Hai by Gurunam Singh from the album Silent Moonlight Meditation.

Choose to keep your eyes 1/10th open or closed.

Duration:
