Meditation on the Divine Mother
Connect to the Primal Creative Energy
November 16, 1973
This meditation offers a powerful way to connect with the nurturing energy of the Divine Mother, the source of all creation. It can help you cultivate inner peace, release fears, and empower yourself to take action. All four parts of this meditation should be done for equal lengths of time; they can be practiced for 11, 31, or 62 minutes.

Part I: Connecting with the Infinite Mother
Posture & Mudra: Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana) with your spine straight. Bring your hands in Gyan Mudra.
Eyes/Drishti: Close your eyes.
Mindful Attention: Meditate on the endless, ever-expanding spiral of energy emanating from the Divine Mother, the primal womb, a source without beginning or end that goes to Infinity.
Duration: Continue for 11, 31, or 62 minutes, depending on your preference and experience level.
Part II: Beaming Light
Posture & Mudra: Remain in Easy Pose (Sukhasana). Cup your hands in front of your face with palms facing each other and separate them about 4-6 inches. Imagine cupping a radiant light within your hands.
Movement & Breath: Long Deep Breathing. As you visualize, take slow, deep breaths, allowing the calming rhythm to further connect you to the Divine Mother’s energy.
Eyes/Drishti: Closed.
Mindful Attention: Beam light out from between your hands. Project your inner light outward, visualizing it merging with the infinite light you focused on in Part I. Use your mental eyes to see this beam of light extend endlessly.
Duration: Continue for 11, 31, or 62 minutes, depending on your preference and experience level.

Part III: Deepening the Connection
Posture & Mudra: Remain in the same posture as part II.
Breath & Mantra: Chant the mantra “SA TA NA MA” silently. This mantra represents the Divine Mother’s nurturing essence. Allow your breaths to become longer and deeper as you progress.
Mindful Attention: As you mentally chant, deepen your meditation. Imagine your mind following the beam of light you created, merging with the vast, infinite light of the Divine Mother.
Duration: Continue for 11, 31, or 62 minutes pending on your preference and experience level.
Part IV: Embracing the Kundalini Energy
Posture & Mudra: Hold your posture, mudra, and concentration steady.
Mantra: Chant the Kundalini Bhakti Mantra:
“ADI SHAKTI, ADI SHAKTI, ADI SHAKTI, NAMO, NAMO,
SARAB SHAKTI, SARAB SHAKTI, SARAB SHAKTI, NAMO, NAMO
PRITHAM BHAGVATI, PRITHAM BHAGVATI, PRITHAM BHAGVATI, NAMO, NAMO
KUNDALINI MATA SHAKTI, MATA SHAKTI, NAMO, NAMO.”
This mantra honors the primal creative force of the Divine Mother, Kundalini Shakti.
Duration: Continue for 11, 31, or 62 minutes, depending on your preference and experience level.
