Dispel Inner Anger and Gain Neutral Self
Cultivate Neutrality
February 15, 2000
This meditation offers a two-part process to release inner anger and cultivate a more neutral state of mind.
Part I

Posture & Mudra:
Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana). Make the hands into tight fists, with the palms facing the body and forearms parallel to the ground. The elbows are slightly away from the body.
Mantra & Movement:
Chant “HAR” powerfully and rhythmically from your Navel Point. On each repetition, forcefully punch towards the center at the level of your diaphragm, with your left fist passing over your right. Make this movement vigorous but without touching your body.
Eyes/Drishti: Closed.
Duration: Continue for 11 minutes.
Ending: Inhale deeply and hold your breath for 15 seconds. Bring your fists in front of your diaphragm and squeeze them very tightly. Exhale and repeat the sequence two more times. Relax.
Part II

Posture & Mudra:
Remain in Easy Pose (Sukhasana). Place both hands on your heart center.
Eyes/Drishti: Closed.
Mindful Attention:
Enter a deep, calm meditation. Focus on the concept of non-existence, allowing yourself to feel and imagine a state of perfect neutrality. Let go of any lingering anger or agitation, to find balance within yourself.
Mantra (Optional):
In the last half of the meditation, you may choose to sing along with the suggested recording: Hari Bhajan Kaur’s On This Day.
Duration: Continue for 11 minutes.
Ending: Allow yourself to relax completely, carrying the newfound sense of neutrality into your day.
