Posture & Mudra: 

Sit in Easy Pose (Sukhasana). Extend your arms out to the sides, parallel to the ground. Bend your elbows at a 90-degree angle, bringing your forearms straight up and hands into Gyan Mudra .

Breath & Mantra: 

  • Inhale deeply and engage Root Lock (Mula Bandha). Then chant the mantra “HUM” 16 times as you release the breath.

  • Inhale deeply and then completely exhale four times. Hold your breath out after each exhale.
  • Repeat the chanting sequence, this time chanting “HUM” 20 times as you release the breath. 

    • After chanting, inhale deeply and then completely exhale four times. Hold your breath out after each exhale.

  • Then repeat again, chanting “HUM” 24 times as you release the breath.

    • After chanting, inhale deeply and then completely exhale four times. Hold your breath out after each exhale.
