T\u00f3mate un momento para recordar c\u00f3mo es tu postura cuando te sientes triste, inseguro o feliz. La forma en que sostenemos nuestro cuerpo tiene una correlaci\u00f3n directa con c\u00f3mo nos sentimos, y c\u00f3mo nos sentimos tambi\u00e9n tiene un impacto directo y claro en c\u00f3mo sostenemos nuestro cuerpo.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La teor\u00eda del yoga afirma que la parte m\u00e1s densa de nuestro ser es el cuerpo f\u00edsico. As\u00ed como los aspectos m\u00e1s sutiles de nosotros mismos (como las emociones, los pensamientos y la energ\u00eda) influyen en el cuerpo, el cuerpo tambi\u00e9n puede influir en nuestros aspectos sutiles. La premisa b\u00e1sica de Asana es que, si utilizamos nuestro cuerpo de la forma m\u00e1s precisa e intencional posible, podemos crear un gran cambio en todos los niveles de nuestro ser: f\u00edsico, mental, energ\u00e9tico y espiritual.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La palabra asana es un t\u00e9rmino s\u00e1nscrito que suele traducirse como \u201cpostura\u201d o \u201cpose\u201d. Patanjali define adem\u00e1s la asana de yoga en el Sutra 2.46 como \u201cSthiram sukham aasanam\u201d, es decir, la posici\u00f3n que es c\u00f3moda y estable. En otras palabras, buscamos el punto en el que nos sentimos c\u00f3modos y estables de manera sostenida en la pr\u00e1ctica. Esto no significa que siempre ser\u00e1 f\u00e1cil, ciertas partes de una pr\u00e1ctica de yoga pueden ser dif\u00edciles, pero c\u00f3modas al mismo tiempo. No se trata de hacer las posturas a la perfecci\u00f3n, sino de la conciencia que aportamos al expresar nuestra propia perfecci\u00f3n \u00fanica a trav\u00e9s de cada postura.      <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En resumen, las asanas son posiciones corporales espec\u00edficas que abren los canales de energ\u00eda y los centros ps\u00edquicos del cuerpo. Son fundamentalmente generadoras de vida y salud. <\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Herramienta de meditaci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/span> Las asanas crean una base de conexi\u00f3n entre el cuerpo y la mente. Cada postura estimula una zona del cuerpo, mientras respiras conscientemente en sinton\u00eda con el movimiento. La frecuencia de los pensamientos y las emociones se ve influenciada por tus movimientos. Cuando sincronizas tu respiraci\u00f3n con el movimiento, es un paso invaluable hacia la autorregulaci\u00f3n, la autoconciencia y la capacidad de trabajar con tu mente.   <\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Herramienta energ\u00e9tica:<\/strong><\/span> como v\u00eda de prana, las posturas abren una ruta para la energ\u00eda entre los puntos meridianos, lo que te da una sensaci\u00f3n sutil de flujo y una sensaci\u00f3n de conexi\u00f3n con la energ\u00eda m\u00e1s profunda de tu cuerpo. Al sintonizarnos con nuestro cuerpo de manera consciente y sincronizar nuestro movimiento con nuestra respiraci\u00f3n, podemos escuchar estos mensajes y aprender de ellos. Otros textos cl\u00e1sicos de Hatha yoga mencionan 84 asanas ense\u00f1adas por el dios Shiva. En tiempos m\u00e1s recientes, Sri Dharma Mittra, un reconocido maestro de yoga asociado con las tradiciones Iyengar, Ashtanga Vinyasa y Sivananda, ha compilado una lista de 1.300 asanas de yoga.  <\/p>\n<p>Como puedes ver, no hay un conjunto predefinido de asanas.
